I'm so happy that Shawn & Andrew are having open conversation with fellow Christians. It's scary to have a platform where there is so much judgement towards Christians, where christians are painted with a poor brush. I'm so encouraged when I watch influencers step up, share their faith & be an GOOD & TRUE example of who Jesus really is. It's so important to use all the blessings, and platforms that we've been given to be an example of the love that the Lord has to offer. I encourage you & Andrew to continue to be this light, even though it's scary and you will face judgement. I feel your worry and I am praying over your family. My husband unexpectedly passed away 3 months ago after a 2nd leg amputation. What you shared about grieving is so true - it changes you, your outlook on life, relationships, etc. I love everything you shared, your perspectives on going through the loss of a spouse, and going into a new relationship with someone else, how it feels for both of you, and down the road in it as well was so beautiful and uplifting. Jeremy I relate to you in losing a spouse, and I thank you both for sharing ways to grieve and how to deal with it in a new relationship as well. You are all awesome believers, so inspiring, and this was incredibly helpful to me in my situation, and I know for sure this is helping tons of others. Thank you for your transparency, as you said...we are all in life to help each other with hardships, learn with and from each other, stay focused on God through everything we face, and to share love with the world. We're all God's children, and this is a beautiful reminder of our responsibilities in life, the blessings we can all be to others, and I love how you said God created love, we need to make it a focus in our hearts, always. I literally had the song I still believe when my Grandma got cancer my senior year 03/04 and the Lord told me he was going to bring her home to heaven and heal her there. That song became my anthem to the Lord even though what I did not want to happen was happening.

I'm "I still believe", but the living story. We knew from 6 months after being married, I was sick. 20 years later.

I was listening to The Benjamin Gate for the first time in years recently and thought "I wonder what Adrienne is up to now?" and it led me here. Good episode.

The beautiful thing about true Godly relationships is that the best things about each other will and should always be surrounded by each other’s relationships with God. When they were each asked the question of what is the thing that you most love about each other, it surrounded the love for Jesus Christ. If that’s not what you love the most about your girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse then there’s some fixing to do.

I LOVE this couple. They are amazing. I discovered Dead Man Walking and fell in love with it and have loved keeping up with them.

Love it! I was born in Indiana, lived in 5 states and two countries but the most favorite place to look forward to is Heaven!

If you want to cry and be happy watch the movie , what a incredible strength they both have and I love that addie is so okay with him having a wife prior to her and still honoring that love for him . That’s a tough one for a lot of women . If only everyone could be as loving all the broken marriages and divorced couples with kids could really just think about the bigger picture . Obviously she passed away it’s not a divorce but for those couples that had different trauma after a first marriage it s still nice to see a couple so open and okay with things and constantly work past that trauma for the health of their marriage and for their children . Love them ❤️
