This "Jerry Garcia Band" concert is considered exceptional !
Why ? Perhaps another "Hampton" outing, ... ?, Bruce Hornsby sitting in ...?, perhaps the commercial CD release ...? ... in any case, the music, energy and smiles are clearly there ! Indeed, a great JGB show.

This is magical. On a rough night for me personally I thought I'd listen to a shining star to fix my thinking around it. Went to KZfaq on my phone and typed in Jerry Garcia Band Shining Star and before could even look at the results of make a search selection on my phone, realized the kitchen sink pipe was leaking! So I set my phone down and went to address that and just when that became overwhelming and it really was too much for one night, all of a sudden this show starts playing without human hand. I really needed that Bright Shining Miracle Think and yes, it did fix my mind about it and no, not every man can be replaced. My phone shut off right as he said that and no- they may say that but it's simply not true. Thank you Jerry.

this tour was truly one of the best times of my life & this show was the peak experience of the tour. still vividly remember the beautiful women spinning & dancing near me during this amazing version of shining star. saw Jerry well over 100 times(GD & JGB) between 87&95 & this was truly 1 of the best nights.

This is absolutely one of the best JGB shows I've EVER heard in all my touring, spinning, taping, sharing, listening, remembering, cataloging Deadhead life! AWESOMENESS... I will definitely be listening to this one again.... and again. And in twenty years, again. Thank you so. very much.

I was blessed bye my step dad who got me a ticket to see JGB. It was the last show at the Providence Civic Center. It was a family night. Bob Southworth my mom and my brother John L Folco attended that night along with many friends.. such a blessing

Spent many a night at his feet at the Warfield... Could walk from home. This takes me back there. So glad we did not take it for granted! - - dyed in the wool deadhead!

great experience for me...general admission show..plenty of tix around walk right up...made my way up to the front and was sceaming applause

i saw 11/06, 11/07/91 at cap centre. I was astounded in how good jerry sounded in jgb. pure jerrry. also the vibe at the shows was more like a spiritual setting, i even took my old mom to 11/07 as it was her birthday. and jgb just happened to be in town. i shall be released and dont let go sound great.

One of the greatest nights of my life ❤️ thank you for sharing. This was my first jerry show I was 16 and it was magical 🤪 and I learned why its called the mothership.

Great JGB show. Love the first set too with Bruce Hornsby sittin' in. Jerry's energy is up for this show, his generous spirit shines through. What a sweetheart Jerry was, giving so much with such passion.

You have no idea how much joy your downloads bring to my life. So very grateful. JGB was the absolute best. Loved them more than the dead .... Sometimes 😉
