Thank God Bart Starr lived to see the great Jerry Kramer go in to the NFL hall of fame RIP The Great Bart Starr.

I totally agree...I'm glad Jerry was alive to see his induction into the HOF.....every year I would write a ton of letters to sports writers and the HOF on Jerry's behalf demanding he be enshrined....

Am 65 and still wear his jersey. Hero and a fine man. It speaks well that he was so respected by everyone.

Bart Starr was my hero growing up, and I got to meet him and Jerry Kramer as a young teenager at a promotional event. Bart was the nicest guy you could imagine. Jerry Kramer autographed my copy of his 1968 book "Instant Replay" a sports classic which I highly recommend to any football fan.

Starr was the epitome of that I think a man should me... married to Cherry Starr forever, quiet, polite, and able to deliver when necessary and rip it up if required. And maybe the greatest passer, statistically, ever. even better than Brady. Fantastic leader and man.

One hell of a football player and one damn class act. By the way, not an act. RIP #15

They don't make them like that anymore . There were better passers but no one had the class he had , no one ! That's from a 60's Colts fan with Unitas ! Vince is getting his team back and Bart is his QB . Dallas may have been Americas team , But that 60's Packer team was God's team !

C,mon I know this is a tribute to Bart Starr but how many times do we have to see the touchdown in the icebowl?

That was the play that made the Packers the dynasty of the 1960s and Vince Lombardi the greatest head coach ever.
