I agree Ricky Nelson was the handsomest man on the planet even more than the Kennedy brothers Jack and Bobby coincidentally they all died in their 40,s

Best of all, this song was written by the GREAT JOHN FOGERTY and wa there taking part, the natural heir to The Sun Sound.

My music hero John Fogerty amongst all these mega stars singing his song. What a dream come true!!! I wonder what Doug, Stu and the jealous brother Tom felt seeing this? Shouldn't piss off the true star of CCR.

I didn’t realize this was another great song by John Fogerty! I wondered how he knew the song so well! 😁👍🏼 Truly great times!

This historical event took place 9/20/85 despite what you may have read elsewhere 1984. Ricky Nelson died 3 months later.......took place at Sun records and at the long gone American sound studios...

Rick Nelson, gone to soon. I grew up on Rock N Roll, we loved it. My sister and I listened to every one of these greats. I grew up in Chicagoo and we had WJJD which was strictly this music. I'm 78 years old and listen to the oldies all the time. I still have 75 PL Albums and play them once in a while. Such a great time to grow up. My grandkids have their own kids, now but I always tell them about Rick N Roll and most times when they hear some of the songs they like the music.

WOW ! That was a real Treat ! I am surprised even half of those guys were still alive to join in on that. I am also surprised that some of those people, such as Rick Nelson - had anything to do with Sam Phillips and that group in the first place. I mean he was raised up in Southern California with the Nelson Family and not in Memphis. But it doesn't matter - The More the Merrier ! I am glad to see Ricky and all the others together. I am a big and long-time Ricky Nelson Fan.

Being raised in Southern California has nothing to do with not being country. Because after all, he was born in New Jersey, Not California, and He always loved carl perkins rock and roll But originally before rock and roll, he was a big country. Fan had a lot of records in his very young Years he also sang country music himself he Recorded at least 3 country albums, wrote his own country music and he is the founding father of country rock! Yes, Rick is pure country. He was a country boy!❤❤❤❤❤

Sad 😰 Rick 😇❤️ died in the plane crash three months later. Likewise, Elvis 😇💜 is not 🚫 part of this reunion because he passed away 😰 during August 1977. Two great sweet 🧁 very giving 🤑 humble down to earth 🌍 multi-talented, funny 🤣 genuine, very hardworking compassionate 💜 and amazing vocalists 🎤 musicians, record ⏺️ composer/arranger/producer and actors and incredible men.

They put so many undistinguished singers on there and mixed them so high that the legendary voices are diluted out, you can just barely hear Fogerty but the '55'ers are nowhere to be heard. But excellent song choice though.
