That might be true. It happened to me. I broke up with a narcissist and he tried for over a year to get back together with me. Not because he loved me, but because I ended it. In the narcissist’s mind you’re not going to break up with them. They want to end it when they want to especially after you have stopped being of use to them. So he was only trying to get back with me because he still had a use for me and in his mind it was “how dare SHE break up with ME!?!?” It is hell dealing and severing ties with a narcissist.
