As promised here is a video of Carl's amazing Mil 24 Hind RC Turbine Scale Helicopter showing some of the detail up close and the time and effort that has been put into the build quality. Footage taken at Springhill and Tokoroa Airfields.

As an American, I should point out that the "pilots" are in infantry uniforms. Maybe they got drunk and stole the copter. Talk to the German who built the copter.

The idea that a couple of infantry soldiers with helicopter flight training and experience stole a copter and went for a joy ride had me rolling on the floor, not because I don't think it could happen, but because it was the funniest thing I could consider.

Not just infantry uniforms...US ARMY uniforms...in a Russian chopper. They stole the chopper! XD

Absolutely beautiful bird! Too bad he didn't have a servo in the nose to move the forward gun turret back and forth. That would be awesome. Thanks for the awesome video.

You can go to the website of the builder which is heliclassics.de to seek an exact price as I would imagine the options are endless. This machine however I doubt you would get much change out of $50,000 NZD

Virginia Diaz Hi, you can check out the builders website at www.heliclassics.de He builds some amazing machines and another of his, the Mil-8 can be seen on this channel. I suspect you wouldn't get much change out of $40,000 NZD however he can help you with any information you require.

Nice machine! But as a Czech I am pissed at The American pilots who are in the cockpit ! Why are there not fit designation pilots Czech army! JSE understood the Americans can do anything in the world!
