Thanks a million for this great tutorial! Extremely helpful! I have done only one modification; I found that my turning points tended to be a bit bulky, marring the looks of the side containing the turning point. So, from row 3 and onwards, I omit the last chain before joining with the slip stitch. For me, the slip stitch in itself provides enough of a "chain space" for the first SC after turning. Admittedly, it is a bit tighter than the regular chain spaces, but the look of the side containing the turning point is very much improved.

You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful. 😊 Thank you for the tip as well, I'm going to try it out after the third row. I know exactly what you mean when you see the chain + slip stitch on the side, so I'm curious to see if it will almost look invisible when joining.
