JHM High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) Upgrade Installation Procedure

This video will explain how to remove the OEM High Pressure Fuel Pump internals and replace them with the NEW JHM High Pressure Fuel Pump Upgrade Kit.
Our brand new, JHM High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) Upgrade will help you get the most out of the stock direct injection fueling system on your 2.0T FSI. Our HPFP Upgrade will fit all all Audis and Volkswagens with Hitachi High Pressure Fuel Pumps. This includes the Audi B7-A4 2.0T FSI, B7-RS4 4.2L FSI V8, B8-S5 4.2L FSI V8 and Volkswagen Mark V and VI GTIs and GLIs with the 2.0T FSI. This upgrade does not fit newer TSI motors with Bosch pumps.

Hi, nice video thanks, Just a question, have you encountered any situation where HPFP is faulty and car doesn’t start and spark plugs gets flooded . I took my car to 2 mechanics but no resolution yet. Can faulty HPFP sends more fuel than required and not let engine to start instead get it flooded. Look to your reply,

this upgrade is only for the FSI engine found in the B7/MK5 Chassis. Your TFSI engine uses a different style pump.

Yes, you could install this on an otherwise stock A4 with no issues. Typically the upgraded internals are recommended for Stage 2 or above ECU tuning that require the upgrade.

Bought this kit and I'm screwed, my internal seal is shot. where do I get just that seal?!?!

Brian, Audi does not offer any internal rebuild parts for these pumps. Usually requires a complete new pump, we have seen the internal seals fail on the Hitachi pumps before & always recommend replacement with new. We would also consider inspecting the rest of the fuel system if the seal deteriorated.

More fuel for systems that demand it. Plus, it reduces the duty cycle on the solenoid thus improving the life of your HPFP.
