great video. I just got some early 90s Old Grand Dad 86 proof and it is really good. I would guess 10-12 years old and it is much richer than 86-94 proof pours out there today.

I can assure you that isn’t from the 80s. It’s earlier. These crazy decanters lasted late 60s into the 70s. Welcome to dusty bourbon. The end product always punches up than the ABV says. Always thicker on the palate.
