Because it is a southern thing. Never ok once heard anyone say they had biscuits and gravy for breakfast. I live in NJ. I am in central Illinois, when I grew up my mom would make scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast with butter on it for breakfast. And sometimes Canadian bacon. We would also go to McDonalds and get the big breakfast with pancakes, and it comes with a biscuit, you eat it with butter and jelly. If you want a good fresh biscuit sandwich, you go to Hardees and get a biscuit meal, it's a hand made biscuit, hash rounds, and a drink, coffee or juice. My favorite is the loaded omelet biscuit, with all the meats and scrambled eggs and cheese. Those biscuits at Hardees are damn good, sometimes I get two and a juice, the bacon, egg, cheese, and the loaded omelet biscuit. Jimmy would love it, and I would bet he has had them.

My grandma always had biscuits for breakfast. If they were from the night before she would butter them up and toast them. If fresh you had good sausage milk gravy. Nothing better. You ate the leftover sausage and bacon throughout the day and had a big dinner with biscuits at night. I sure miss the dinners and breakfast

Jesus Christ man I’m from NJ, one of the most yankee of yankee states and I can say with absolute confidence that southern breakfasts are some of the most pleasurable food experiences I’ve ever had. Southern breakfasts are just about a staple in any Marine Corps or Army chow hall.

It can be hard to find a restaurant that does good biscuits and gravy...but sometimes, good b&g pops up in the most unexpected places. Among the best b&g I have ever had was in the dorm cafeteria at The University of Missouri back when I was in college. Huge chunks of sausage in the gravy. It was awesome...and I'd pay good money for a plate at a restaurant that could replicate it perfectly.

Ive been in NY my whole life, bagels are very popular, but lots of ppl eat biscuits for breakfast lunch or dinner here too. Hell I make biscuits for me n my son twice a week. Brians food tastes are just very jewish, because he is jewish, which is why he doesnt like cheese on his burgers, or meat on his pizza. I love hearing them argue about food
