I mean jeez. You have a guy willing to come in who is a descendant of the best wrestling trainer in Canada, and you turn him away? I lost all sympathy for AEW. I think the problem with AEW is that they have too many wrestlers that think they are bigger stars than what they actually are. It’s quite literally an ego serving promotion, and that’s why they will never come close to the level of WWE in terms of cultural impact and business.

@Speedyreedy1218 11 ай бұрын
@@wilcee238 There were no Kliq politics to protect him from. Hall, Nash, and Waltman were gone in wcw way before Rock debuted at Survivor Series 96. HHH was in the doghouse for the Curtain Call. Literally, only HBK had influence. The Kliq was no more as as a collective. What Bret did was talk shit about HBK to Rock; and HBK feeding into the game unfairly used HHH as a pawn also. Bret and Shawn tried to pit H and Rock against each other because of their own unresolved issues. To the point where Rock wrongfully accused HHH of stuff HBK instigated about Rock behind HHH'S back years down the road. Rock eventually smartenend up and apologized to HHH right before Summerslam 1998. This drama is covered in season three of Young Rock, episode 8 I believe. Rock and HHH friends in real life every since. They're just good at their jobs to make fans take sides. Back when wrestlers had the talent to make most fans believe angles and take it seriously.

@prophecygg5826 Tony Khan is actually the owner of AEW, which is the second largest wrestling company. That's the company they're talking about. In an employment situation (also known as a "job") the owner of the company is typically the person who has power to make decisions and force the people who work for them (called "employees") do perform the tasks and attend training sessions (among other things) because if the employees don't do it the owner can impose penalties or terminate employment. (That's called being "fired.") So it does have a lot to do with Tony Khan because Tony Khan owns the company. Honestly it would really do you a lot of good to familiarize yourself with the basics of how jobs and companies work. That's knowledge that you really are expected to have. I understand you've never actually had a job before and from your comment it seems like you've inherited a large amount of money so you won't ever have to, but for the sake of not appearing ignorant it really is best to learn these things

@hezekiahramirez6965 and you think the VPs who have been causing the problems with which you speak of have nothing to do with it, eh? Tony would love to have Brett. Guess who wouldn't? You would think with all your nonsense about jobs, you would that the boss isn't always the guy calling shots and doesn't have as much say as you think. You would also think after being on this channel long enough, you would know that Tony isn't exactly known for his no nonsense putting his foot down attitude. Also, you would know how the Bucks and friends hate people who know what they are talking about talking about wrestling. You don't think Punk would love to have Brett? You don't think Tony would? You don't think the majority of the roster would? It's called politics. Something every job, business, and company has a lot of being played, especially behind the scenes. You and all your infinite wisdom about the workplace and how a job which you clearly don't have much of one since you criticize people you don't know anything by talking out your ass and making yourself look and sound like a bitter jealous child would surely have thought about that before making a giant post that had little to no factual basis to it. Certainly, a person of your intellect and foresight would never make such an error. People like you are why the Cult of Cornette gets so much hate. FYI. If you spent half the time and effort to get an education or better your profession as you did wasting your time writing that message maybe someday you can have a good job too and can laugh at silly children in the KZfaq comments section. Good luck with all the delusion snowflake.

and the clock is ticking on Terry Funk, unfortunately.......dude's not getting any younger and we don't know when his ticket is gonna be punched for the afterlife 😞 It's weird.....in the last couple of years, Terry shaved off his famous goatee and he's a dead ringer for his Dad! I always thought Dory Jr. looked more like his Dad than Terry did over the years......goes to show you that people age differently. Same can be said for Vince McMahon.....Vince Jr. didn't really look like his Dad until the last few years....of course, not too many photos exist of Vince Sr. as a younger guy. The basic point to this is.....we all end up looking like our Dads at some point down the line, lol 😆

When Jon Moxley was actually a sleazy heel who didn't blade on camera. When RJ City was a wrestler who shunned flashy moves. Really all Bret Hart would need to do is identify exactly what about the promotion is bringing out the worst in so many wrestlers. That'd be more valuable than his services as a manager or agent, which isn't to say he still couldn't agent after it was understood, but goddam! They turned Scorpio Sky into a clown. I thought that I might be very curious about why Tony Khan hasn't just been begging every great wrestling legend & mind in the business, to be working for his company and to make use of their decades of experience. However, it then occurred to me: All of the great people in wrestling would simply tell Tony and his buddies what they are doing inadequately or wrong altogether...so Tony won't offer them any kind of position that would give them power and/or make his friends upset. The fragile egos of some manchildren are legitimately preventing this company from progressing further, and the balls of it's leader only get released whenever they need to sic him on someone who is critical of them. The only way Bret would work in AEW is if he’s helping the talent on Collision.

Bret's experience is worth more than gold. If I had a chance to choose any trainer, it'd be him.

Regal was right there to be an agent too, but completely wasted their opportunity with him. Would not surprise me if the EVPs had a hand in that result also.

Imagine having one of the greatest minds in your chosen profession offer to come down and offer tips and insight, and your response is, "Nah, I'm good." 🤦‍♂

It solidifies the fact TK is on a massive ego trip.. he literally wants to be the next Vince McMahon.. even with this knowledge AEW Stan’s will still support the brand knowing full well it’ll never get better as long as TK and his EVP’s keep running it.

It's been an ongoing joke in Lynchburg, VA that whenever a new building is being built it will be the future location for a Piggly Wiggly. It's been rumored for years that the city will get one of their stores, but it never takes place.
