Having started school in 1987, and graduated in 2000, I’d say most of my teachers were pretty intelligent. They knew their shit. There were a few that shouldn’t have been teachers and I questioned how they even graduated from, let alone got admitted to, college.

IDK about the last century but in the last 20 years being intelligent is actually a detriment to being in the teaching profession, or the education industry in general. You're not supposed to think, you're supposed to do as you're told and lap up the college indoctrination (it's not education anymore) so you can brainwash kids like the deep state wants.
