I know the consequences of stress eating all too well. I was 270-280 back in college. My weight really began to shrink when I quit Coke (Cola, you prudes). Then Covid happened and I stopped going to the bar for 2 years. I also began exercising rigorously to get obesity removed from my pre-existing conditions. I am now 213 at 6'4".

I struggle with my weight, primarily the fact I gain weight quicker than a starving monkey eats a banana. Since listening to the podcast I’ve gotten to where I work out every day and have dropped 25-30lbs. It’s a damn struggle y’all!!

It all starts with what you eat above all else. You need to eat good nutritious clean food 95% of the time, not just 80%. Limit sugar to one or two treats a week and really understand and take it to heart that it is the worst thing you can put in your body. Most people feel like they deserve a snack every day. That's step one to being overweight.

Weight loss is the second hardest fight you’ll ever have, second only to mental health (for most of us at least 😅). I’m proud of you for losing the weight, fam! I’ve dropped weight myself and it’s the best thing I ever did for myself. I feel healthier, look healthier, and even though I still struggle with self-image, it’s not nearly as bad as it was. Whereas before it was “yeah there’s no hope,” now it’s “I’ve already done it. I just gotta keep it off and stay healthy. The hard part is over.” Any support you ever need, let me know!

The graphic on this vid reminds me of the old Stanlieo's Subs commercial from the 70s - a big guy in a sweatsuit, headband and all, running up the sidewalk, puffing, red-faced, about to collapse, and then he reaches his destination - Stanlieo's, where we realize he was running not to lose weight, but to get a #9 Kitchen Sink with everything. In the background was the jingle "There's no substitute for a Stanlieo's submarine sandwich". And there isn't, either. The Kitchen Sink is seven meats and three cheeses, plus toppings and this incredible tomato-pickle-onion relish stuff.

@@ekmad 😂 My dude I'm 6'2 and i used to weigh 127kgs. Now i weigh 87kgs. I used to work as a labourer, now i own my own business. I was single, fat and suffering badly from PTSD. Now I'm fit, engaged to an awesome woman and make more money than I've ever made before 😂 If that's an addiction, then I'm genuinely grateful for my addiction 😂 I'd highly recommend it

When I was drinking the combination of buying more booze and drunk Amazon shopping was rough on my bank. I didn't realize how generally crappy I had gotten used to feeling until I had put the booze down for about a month.

What do you want from asking that question? Do you want to matter in people's lives in general, or just certain people who don't reciprocate? Don't know what's up with the "I'd still be hated", but most people have to go through life trying to figure if that's worth giving a fuck about or not.
