Gary Hart in his book said Terry Funk was working his legendary run with Ric Flair in 1989 with an arm infection and he finally had to get Funk go to the hospital when the infection got worse. He refused so Gary threatened to tell his wife and daughters. Funk finally gave in. Turns out it was MRSA.

I just had pneumonia. Thank goodness for free* medicial care. No masks, although obviously drs, nurses, staff etc. will sometimes wear one if around someone potentially contagious. Here in the UK most of the reception desks are unoccupied at any point in time, so you do kinda wander around if no one's there. A&E and those kinda areas are obviously busy but rest of the hospital is serene and even pseudo-abandoned I got my own room and the hospital food was actually great, I ate it all. You got a menu for lunch and dinner and got to pick, from Indian food to roast and nice dessert like ice-cream or cake. *Yeah yeah, taxes

Most hospitals are pretty relaxed, considering their purpose The receptionist generally tells you where to go, gives you permission, and expects you to go there and come back. Little oversight. Until a visitor actually does something wrong and ruins it for the rest of us that is.

Sounds like the UK in two different ways: Most hospitals you can just walk in pretty much any entrance and either go to reception to ask the way or just figure it out for yourself and wander around freely, no mask required But the parking... unfortunately our taxes don't cover that and they are all owned by greedy private companies who charge a fortune

I live way out Kal-ee-for-knee Way, and masks are required at hospitals. Now, they won't help you for nuthin' but that's a different story. Last time I was at the hospital, a few months ago, not receiving the help I needed, a _very_ COVID_ positive woman came in, coughing, so I left. Oh, and I got my own room once when the hospital stopped feeding me anything but liquids for a week (and wouldn't let me drink water), so I started to hullucinate. I went up to the nurses station at 3A.M. & accused them of trying to steal my identity. They moved me to a private room immediately.

Cornette has always been like that. From the way he describes it he was like that even as a kid. Must have been the most boring kid ever. I suspect mama Cornette had a lot to do with him being so cautious. It’s like the waterboy but with more money. Husband dead(not really but that’s what the mother in the movie told Bobby Boucher) when the child was really young and having only one kid and very little family otherwise so she was probably extra careful she wasn’t going to lose the last family she’s got. And that my friends is how you make a kid neurotic and that kid turns into an adult.
