I’m Arab and I find Israeli quite nice people. I have met some who immigrated to Canada and it was the first time for me to meet them in person. The media made a terrible image on both sides.

Yeah, I'm from Israel and i met couple of Arabs and they were pretty nice, we even had a school project when we met kids from Arabic schools and we talked about our cultures

Homo Gadol I tend to find: people from any nation are good decent people. It’s their leaders who like to stir things up, creating divisions, calling for war, scaremongering, etc etc I suppose it justifies their position as PM, president etc and keeps them in power.

HRW urges UN action over Israel’s ‘discriminatory’ system Human Rights Watch (HRW) has urged the United Nations to take action over Israel’s expanding illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), part of what the global rights group described as an inherently “discriminatory” system. As the UN Human Rights Council met in Geneva, HRW released a statement on Tuesday, noting that “in the last six months, settlement expansion has continued unabated, in violation of Israel’s obligations as an occupying power and to the detriment of Palestinian residents”. Palestinians, the statement added, “live under a discriminatory, two-tiered system”. Reaffirming that “settlements are unlawful under IHL, and the transfer of the occupying power’s civilian population to the occupied territory is a war crime”, HRW noted that “settlements are established on land unlawfully seized and rendered off limits to Palestinians”. fyukfy So there are no roads anywhere under Israeli control that Palestinians aren't allowed to drive on? There isn't a big wall segregating Palestinians? The land grabs by israelis (using Force) where Palestinians are then barred from, this doesn't happen? The numerous UN resolutions against Israel for treatment of Palestinians hasn't happened? *The world watches my friend and as a grandson and nephew of men who fought fascism in Germany, I certainly now recognise it in Israel - for that country and it's people's shame*

G - Artist I'm not taking about Palestinians I'm talking about Israeli Arabs, two different political groups, you can't have it both way, saying that Palestine is uts own country that Israel is annexing AND that Palestinians should have equal rights IN ISRAEL. If Palestine is uts own country then Israel has the right to refuse rights to those who don't live in their country, the Palestinians (they are allowed to build a wall on their border, deny citizens if an enemy country entrance/access to Israel's utilities etc etc) or they aren't annexing Palestine in which case the government can do whatever the hell it pleases with the west bank. Pick one, one state solution, or two

The state of Israel is an apartheid state. Fact. The UN defines it as so in many papers. South Africa defines it as so. ...And they would know. In Fact South Africa has recently cut all diplomatic ties with Israel because it is an apartheid state.
