I heard because of grand solar minimum we will have more crop failures, more extreme weather, and colder weather. What do the farmers think? Looks like this farm is doing it big!!!

This isn't irrigated corn right? Real nice video, so cool to see it in large scale version from what I'm used to in CA. We average 35 tons/acre but the plots aren't as large. Irrigation corn out here and it's taller than the cabs on the choppers. I wish I could video like this guy! Great work man.

Missing the truck cause the spout is too short, firing it at an angle and it’s going over the side. California spouts?

Always looks easier from the outside looking in everyone should run one. Lots going on in the old cab at times. I know because I run one.

When the corn is harvested like this (green and full of moisture) how is it stored so it doesn’t go bad? ie. Develop mold and fungus. Is there an added preservative or something?

I see your running the new 12 row big drum head on the one machine assuming that is a 99or 9800. That’s pretty good tons on dryland. Our dry land would not do that our irrigated is 25-30 tons an acre. We also chop silage we run 8 row machines little guys😂
@JimBaltz
@JimBaltz 3 жыл бұрын
I went back and looked and one was a 8800i and the other 9900i. Way back when I used to dairy farm and thought it was awesome when we moved up from a 3 row pull behind to a used 3 row self propelled. It is amazing what they can do now a days!
