Jimin is such a graceful dancer. No matter what the dancing style, he adds his own unique touch to it. The dance styles of Set me free and Like Crazy are so different, yet he pulls both of them effortlessly. He literally flows with music. May I saw that no one makes bodyrolls look as attractive. Versatility at its best!! 💜

If you didn't know this choreography is brilliant. Just as much as the choreography for Set Me Free, but in a different lyrical way. This choreo actually tells the story. It expresses the lyrics and message poetically and smoothly. Jimin is the epitome of smooth in this dance. This dance practice is my preference over the MV. And understand this. I am not saying anything against Jimin. Art is subjective. In the MV I was looking everywhere at everything trying to figure out what was going on and what was the meaning. I woke up the next morning and couldn't remember the song. Only the visuals. But after watching this dance practice the song is still humming in my head. It's a beautifully written song with deep meaning to Jimin and what he experienced during his like crazy time. But this is so much better. Even better than the produced version that was shown on The Jimmy Fallon show. Here's why. We get to see all of Jimin. No distracting sets, costumes, lighting, or visuals. Here we see Jimin's eyes, face, facial expressions, body expressions, feelings, subliminal dreamy mood, and just everything. As a director and choreographer I prefer this raw version. Anytime we can't see Jimin clearly and our eyes are averted, we don't get the full story. Jimin floats and body rolls and moves easily through his story. When the backup dancers are grabbing him we still need to see his Like Crazy reaction. When the one female dancer mirrors his every move we see him in his mirror. I keep saying brilliant. But it is purely brilliant and breathtaking in its simplicity. Kudos to the backup dancers. They compliment him the whole way through and excel in their performance. Did you see the one choreo move that is taken from "Butter"? It's cleverly tucked into the choreo. In my opinion Jimin is on the verge of Michael Jackson fame. He has the potential to match his fame if he wants too. But he will do it in his own charismatic way. Jimin could become #1 in the world. He has that potential. I don't know if he will go for that because he is so humble. Anyway, loving Jimin's song and dance. Love. Love. Love.

Was it just me or did the practice version just seem... I don't know... more fluid? It's a small, subtle move type of choreo & I don't know if it's the single camera filming here or the movement of the clothes, but the whole performance just seems so much more cohesive &... sexier. (도입부) "i think we're gonna last forever" "i'm afraid everything will desappear" "just trust me" (후반부) "we're whole again" "what's the point" 제생각인데, 가사에서의 she란 아마도, 대중인 것 같아요(안무에서 여성댄서들이 의미하는거) 팬들, 더 나아가 일반 대중, 언론, 사회적인 시선, 관심, 유명세 이런거요. 여성댄서들에게 둘러쌓여 휘둘리는 안무나, 도입부 몸에 다닥다닥 붙어있는 그...😑 안무도 그렇고. 남자 댄서들의 역할은 지민이구요. 인간 박지민 말고 연예인 박지민. 그림자처럼 줄서서 쉬리릭 움직이는 남자댄서들 안무. 역시 도입부에 인간박지민의 몸에 다닥다닥 붙어있어요. 여자댄서(인기, 유명세)와 남자댄서(셀럽박지민, 남에게 보여지는 모습) 의 커플 안무에 인간 박지민만 홀로 춤을 추고, 여자댄서 한명과의 커플안무(거울)는 대중이 원하는 모습을 거울처럼 따라 가는 지민의 '자아'이고, 결국 그러다 지쳐 대중에게 기대어 주저앉고 말죠. 가사랑 안무랑 모두 인간 박지민의 고독함, 겉으로 보여지는 화려함의 이면, 이런걸 나타낸 거 같아요. 어떤 외국아미들은 여자댄서 남자댄서가 모두 지민이의 자아라서 여성적인면과 남성적인 젠더의 혼란함 커밍아웃 이러고 있는데..좀 속상하더라구요. 참 이렇게 진솔한 심정을, 하고싶은 얘기를 안무랑 가사로 완전 직설적으로 내놓아도 다 지민이의 외양(목소리, 성향)에 대한 편견이나 흥미위주의 해석으로 치부하고... 참, 영어버젼은 가사가 좀 다르더라구요. 글구 좀더 수위가ㅋㅋ 그부분은 남준이 작품이라고 많이들 예상하시더라구요. 안무나 가사에 대한 의미, 나레이션에 대한 의미를 생각하면서 뮤비 보면 좀 더 지민이가 하고 싶은 얘기를 이해할 수 있을거 같아요.
