Yours is a brilliant, observant comment and I could not agree more!!!! So many ( not all) turn into such assholes, even thought they know what they are there for! It's a classic case of dishing it out but not being able to take it!!
@ElvishShellfish
@ElvishShellfish 5 жыл бұрын
@@banjoboy01 one thing though is Brad Garrett's humor is always pretty self deprecating, while neither Bill Maher or Dennis Miller use self deprecation much at all. I get the sense that they are all just using their own sense of humor to contribute to the act, and Brad's works more here (though frankly, if he acted more offended at Jiminy's comments it could have upped the humor a bit more).
@organboi
@organboi 5 жыл бұрын
@@ElvishShellfish I disagree. His responses were perfect to me. His charm and being a good sport was what made it so hilarious. I can't stand when the guests look and sound offended. But that might depend on the guest.

@@organboi yeah, some comedians can pull 'offended' off real well. I think that the straight man/mildly bewildered goes well with the Jimminy Glick bit. BTW Brad Garrett is one of my favorite guys for interviews (behind Norm MacDonald of course) here's a sample: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/md-la7GHmKurp6s.html

Brad Garrett is a really interesting story in that he was mainly an obscure voice actor until he got the role on Raymond- a show that started out slowly and no one I think expected to become a mega-hit. But I dare he never really "made it" until he got the Jiminy Glick treatment here.
