Күн бұрынIn “Jiminy Glick’s La La Wood”, a feature of his 1999-2000 late-night series “The Martin Short Show”, Short, as Glick, interviews Doris Roberts on the set of “Everybody Loves Raymond”. Though his talk show only lasted a season, Glick went from strength to strength, with his own series “Primetime Glick”, and a movie.

I thought the same thing. I wanted him to really go after her because I know with her sharp wit she would have given it right back to him. He had so much respect for her, he couldn't bring himself to ramp up the insults.

My whole family LOVES A New Leaf. Elaine May, Walter Matthau (and young Doris Roberts!). Campy favorite that we all have memorized our favorite lines... Three Amigos is the only other movie we quote as often. Thank you Martin Short!

I love the references to George Maharis, Richard Chamberlain, Charles Nelson Reilly and Roddy McDowell that he always makes. It makes it seem as if he was belle of the ball when he was younger (before Dixie, of course) and was a twink passed around the old Hollywood queens.

Methinks Jiminy was mimicking the "mock" interviewers who came before HIM. The earliest I can think of was an Australian, Norman Gunston (Garry MacDonald), who has celebrities baffled. Google him.

Thomas Simmons and it’s hilarious because it’s so unconvincing. Dixie must be getting action somewhere. I recall one celebrity calling Jiminy out on his fake hetero “va-va-va-voom” bit! Can’t remember who it was tho.
