Jimmy Buckets is back coming off a season where he received more media attention than ever before after he helped a Miami Heat reach the NBA Finals when many believed would be an early exit from the playoffs in 2020. This helped silence the whole "Jimmy is a bad teammate" narrative and actually created awareness for how great of a teammate Mr. Buckets actually is. This season started slow for Jimmy and the Heat, partly because JB had to miss several weeks because of COVID but since he has been back, the Heat have started to regain some momentum.
This compilation features most of Jimmy Butler's funny interviews from this season (2020-2021) but also includes some gems from before this year such as his love for Taylor Swift and country music. More evidence of how great of a teammate Jimmy is comes in this video as you can observe the relationship he has with the Heat's rising star, Bam Adebayo. Earlier this year it was reported that when it was announced that Kevin Durant would be unable to play in the All-Star game, Butler was offered his position. Most NBA stars would jump at a chance to play in the all-star game but Jimmy declined because his teammate Bam was not elected to the game when he thought his play clearly deserved it. If that isn't a good teammate, I'm not sure what is.
I really liked the Heat's trade deadline move to land Victor Oladipo, who at one point looked to be poised to be a young superstar in the making. Unfortunately, injuries have limited his NBA career but if he can get healthy, this Heat team certainly has enough fire power to make some noise again in the NBA playoffs this year. One thing is sure, if that is to happen, everything runs from the guy that I think is maybe the funniest player in the NBA and the leader of the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler. #JimmyButler #BamAdebayo #NBAFunny
