British humour is instead of thinking. Good for getting through the day but the best way of stopping any serious conversation. Took me 40 years to realise, always wondered what was going wrong with Britain. Buddhist teaching says watch out what you think is best about yourself, it's your weakest point. I joined the church! We could use a barrel with a rubber slit to get our jollies! The head priest asked if I liked it? I was alittle ashamed to admit I did! It felt so real! He was glad I enjoyed the barrel, he told me, next week it's my turn inside it!
