Not me. I never understood why everyone loved Jo so much. She was too serious and moody and really just kind of a wet blanket about most things. Blair and Natalie were definitely the funniest.

I work with troubled youth. In 2018, I had a group of 12-14 year old girls that were always having a dilemma within their group. I have the FOL DVD collection. I brought in the 2nd season with Nancy M as the " The New Girl" . You could have heard a pin drop in the class. Right after this episode, these girls wanted to watch the Facts of Life every Friday!!😊 So I created an After School Girls Night In which featured watching the Facts of Life and having girl talk. A major success!

To all those with a negative opinion of how any of these performers look, take a hard look at yourself both outside and inside. These women are all in their 50's now and time marches on with all of us. None of us look anything like we did in our teens or twenties. For those who are not yet there, wait for it. You'll be surprised how life takes a toll on a body and how 'bouncing back' isn't a given. Ms. Cohn deserves respect, as do all the women of 'Facts of Life'.

I'm 51 and watched the show as a little kid. I was thinking, "Lisa Whelchel looks exactly the same!" Yes, we all deserve respect for who we are in our hearts, not how we look on the outside. No matter how good we look, time will indeed take its toll. But our hearts, intellects, wisdom, and personalities can get better and better with time.

I'll restate the obvious: Lisa Whelchel looks the same as she did when the show first aired.I personally think they should have gotten her to reprise her role as Blair Warner.

All three ladies seemed grateful for the time they had on the show. Mindy pointing out the people in charge was so nice and Kim referring to "Uncle Norman" was so sweet.

Went to a taping of Facts of Life back in early 80s. I was a runaway and the tickets were free. Seeing how the production worked inspired me to one day start my own production company.

Did any of the cast come out before the start of taping and say hello to the audience? Do you recall any bloopers they had to re-shoot? I’m assuming they did more than one take of several scenes. I know it wasn’t uncommon for sitcoms in the 80s to be taped twice, once in the afternoon and once in the evening with a different audience and the editors would work with the best shots from each taping. This may be common sitcom practice even today, I’m not sure.

@@carlmartin2710 yes they were in a bedroom scene and had to do a couple of re takes because everyone kept breaking character. They weee introduced by an unknown comedian who was warming up the crowd. They came out waved when their names were called and that’s about it.

@@carlmartin2710 I was a 13 year old runaway at the time. Didn’t need an adult, just walked up to the old ticket booth they used to have at the KTLA lot off Sunset Blvd in Hollywood and ask for the shoes I wanted to see. I saw several including Merv Griffin. That’s what started the entertainment bug in me seeing all those shows and how they taped them. Many years later I married a wonderful woman whose uncle was in the industry at the time. He’s since retired but here’s a poorly shot video behind the scenes at 20th century fox studios where he worked for nearly 40 years.

Yeah I remember Blair paying a visit to the Drummonds home to help Kimberly with something. Makeup maybe? She had a case of some sort. And I remember when she left the apartment it seemed odd she just waltzed out without a jacket or a bag of any kind as though she lived across the hall. Maybe the Warner limo was waiting outside Lol.

@@ROOKTABULA There is no amount of plastic surgery that can peel 30 years of age from someone's face. The very best any plastic surgeon can do is make a person look 10-12 years younger. She's 58 so at best they could have made her look 46. She hardly looks 30. You are looking at mostly good genes and healthy living. If she's had any procedures then they were a minor contribution to her over all look.

Do you remember a year or two before Facts premiered, Lisa was one of the Mouseketeers on the New Mickey Mouse Club? One of my earliest childhood tv memories is all the new Mouseketeers making an appearance at what I think was the Superbowl halftime show or some other high profile televised sporting event.

Do the episode when Grady makes the salad for Lamont’s dinner with the herbs (weed?) from Fred’s front garden...only thing was Fred wasn’t in that episode...but they could take dramatic license and change up the script. It was hilarious when Grady was acting “loopy”. Man, everybody was having a bite of that salad: Esther, Smitty the cop, etc. 🤪😆😆🤣

That's how the Show Series Final Episode Ended with Blair Buying the Cash Strapped Private Girls School and to save it She makes it into a Co Ed Private School by Allowing the Admission of Boys in and Hiring a Co Ed Headmaster for the Boy Students and that is how the Series Final Ended its Run on Network TV.

I thought the woman who played Mrs Garret did a fantastic job. She really channeled her. I feel like Jennifer Aniston was like Rachel Green saying Blair's lines. If she'd studied the episodes more, maybe she could have saw to be more snooty and conceited. It just didn't come across that way. Her performance wasn't so great. It was similar with the one who played Tootie. She said her lines as her own self instead of as Tootie would. Natalie was ok-sometimes nailing it and sometimes not. The one who played Jo did pretty well even if she overdid it just a bit. At least she was trying to "be" Jo instead of saying the lines normally. It was nice to see the OG cast. Lisa looked like she hadn't aged a day. The other 2 looked age appropriate. Sadly, we missed having Nancy there. It would have rounded out the group well.

Yeah. I think Kate is okay but Mindy got a raw deal being pushed out like that. I hope she gets more work - both voiceover and live action - elsewhere.

When I saw this I assumed that after she did her number, Lisa would change out of the Eastland costume and wear her own stylish clothes like the others. The fact that she kept it on and looked absolutely proud to wear that uniform again made me admire her even more. She’s a great sport and that touch made it a little more special.

I legit thought that they photoshopped Lisa Whelchel into the thumbnail...she doesn't look like she aged a single day! I LOVED The Facts of Life, and I LOVE these 3 women, but I always miss Nancy McKeon at these "reunions". And Charlotte Rae ❤ was spectacular.
