Yep.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ❤️ 🇮🇳 If you clip out his injury period in 03-06 his average would be 19. 😳😳 Holds the record as the best bowler away from home this century with more wickets at a better average than anyone else.(I only learnt that yesterday, blew my mind!) A shining example of our Global Cricket brotherhood. 🏏 ❤️

I still can't believe some people think it's only the Duke balls and clouds that get him his wickets. He is definitely in the all time greatest fast bowler conversation for his longevity alone!

Jimmy being from Yorkshire helps with the constant low cloudy weather helps so much with swing bowling. He has the great control,to bowl the swinging ball well. That opening spell against the Kiwis is a great example of his skill.He would have been a hand full in NZ,with similar conditions down there. Still so good getting to the end of his career. A Champion.🇬🇧🏏

Yep. 20 years of international fast bowling 😳 Swings it both ways to both handers, lands it on a penny, not express pace but ALWAYS at 135-138 Kph unless it's a slower ball. Rarely loses his temper, always helps kids. Lovely guy. When he lists his inspirations there are players from almost all of the main Test playing nations. 646 wickets at ~25 average, despite being dropped more than any other Bowler of the last 15 years (so could easily have been a few more) . If you clip out his injury period in 03-06 his average would be 19. 😳😳 Holds the record as the best bowler away from home this century with more wickets at a better average than anyone else.(I only learnt that yesterday, blew my mind!) Most pace bowlers retire at 33-36 but Anderson is still bowling so beautifully at 40 also that he played TEST cricket he has to bowl atleast 20 overs a day, that's a hell lot of work. It is amazing how he has kept himself free from any injury.

I was 12 when India played against England in 2014 and watched anderson first time ,he also got player of the series,now after 10 years in 2024 he has taken retirement with the best records.

Funny thing is even at his age Jimmer was still hitting the deck hard and bowled genuine 86-87-88 mph deliveries against the Aussies and series before that. He’s dialled it back here for greater control and focus on seam and swing. Truly a class act and likely one of the last of his kind now with the focus on short termism in T20 and the 100. Players don’t want to play tests for 5 days, 450 overs for pittance to what they could get in a franchise. Standard of batting is so poor now to what it used to be. Blessed to lived and watched peak test cricket tbh.
