I fear it would precipitate an apocalyptic extinction event. Jimmy: (without saying a word) "Check out these sweet ass brass drawer pulls that are the perfect finishing touch to this project." POW! zzzt zzzt Adam: "So I've gotta tell you about these drawer pulls... about 7 years ago I was on the set of this and that production and I ran into a guy who had these really interesting brass handled chisels. I asked him where he got them and he tells me about his uncle who is a brass worker in Milan and if I ever need any custom brass work he can hook me up. So on this project I an trying to decide on the perfect drawer pull when out of the blue I remember from years back that guy on this and that production whose uncle is a brass worker in Milan, only I don't remember the guys name. Well the set director over at this and that production is a friend of the guy who..."

Grandpa always said " Ya got two eyes, two ears and one mouth, use them in proportion". I love how your videos exercise that. Any questions that I have, I re-wind and watch again and again and I learn from you huge. I have said it before and I will say it again, watching you is like being in my grandfather's shop when I was 12 years old. And I'm 54 now. Thanks!

Just watched damn near every one of your videos, excellent work brother! People see the short and sweet videos and don't realize what it actually takes to do this stuff. Appreciate all the work you put into your videos and projects buddy!

Hardware store clerk elbows a fellow employee as Jimmy Diresta walks in. Jimmy- "Hey guys I'm here to get two gallons of wood glue." One employee shouts "Yesssss!" The other one looks disappointed, pulls $5 out of his wallet and hands it to the happy guy who starts ringing up the sale and says, "Sorry Mr. Diresta, me and Frankie here had a bet when ya walked in. He said "Five bucks it's nails" and I said "No way- it's glue." Jimmy laughs, puts a box of glue in the floorboard to his scooter and later disappears into a basement on the lower East side like Batman with a table saw.

Man, that's a fantastic cabinet! For years now I've been looking for an old card catalog cabinet. But lo, I've never found one at a price I could live with. I don't need a collectible piece of furniture, just a usable cabinet for the shop. A build like this is on my to-do list (after I get my new shop, which I hope will be in the next couple of months). Thanks for the inspiration and cool techniques. I love the manual powered disc sander :) This video and project are so full of win it's ridiculous!

Great use of the Briwax Jimmy on the drawers. Taught me something right there. Beautifully done sir!! Does remind of the days going to the library and looking something up in the card index. Nostalgic!

My favourite piece by far! Reminds me of the old Victorian apothecary cabinets.
