Not to detract from your (very good) point, but I understand James Corden can be quite toxic to work for. While that's not _quite_ the same, it's worth considering, because I can't envision any of the other hosts failing the test "say just one of your camera operators' names."

This is surreal to me. Growing up during the Late Night Wars with Letterman and Leno... you'd never expect to see anything like this. It's great to see late night hosts friends with each other. I know Kimmel and Fallon have done stuff before but it's still surreal.

Colbert, Seth, John Oliver, and Trevor Noah kept me sane in my lockdown. I was so grateful for them and KZfaq. John Oliver was amazing in concert. Niagara Falls, Canada 12/28/23. He's everything he is on TV and so much more. I cried so much from his stories.

It was a different time, and the tone between networks is different now, it seems. But I can't picture Dave and Jay as friendly with one another, at all. [Were they?] Were they even faux-cordial if they were at some public event at the same time? I can imagine them avoiding interaction. Maybe that's just because I like Dave, and Jay- not so much. I try to not bash on anyone I don't personally care for, but I'm going to be transparent - I couldn't find a way to like Jay Leno.
