In one of the cases when Olga left her daughter at a bus stop, her own aunt Svetlana wrote a statement to the prosecutor's office, which identified Diana in a baby house in Ussuriysk, where she was up to 4 years old. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. Greetings from Scotland! This was 2018.09.05 so *Diana was just 15yo here!* Diana is 19yo currently but I've been following her since she was around 13yo. When it comes to vocal range, vocal agility and unique timbre of voice, you ain't heard nothing yet! Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto (VERY deep voice) so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she now has a 4 octave range and it's increasing. So what created this unique phenomenon? Read on please.... Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) she dragged her to a bus stop with a broken collarbone and abandoned her, saying "Survive if you can" A passing relative took her in but because she cried constantly (naturally with a broken collarbone) she took her to the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage!
