Why on earth didn’t they include the passenger detection sensor for the rear seatbelts? It’s already there for the front passenger seat so it’s not like the parts aren’t available. Customers would just leave the back belts buckled permanently which defeats the purpose of the alert

100%. Haters gonna hate but these little Suzukis are tough mountain goats. Mechanically they are extremely sound and very suited to harsh Indian conditions. So 100% we want to see the Raid re-started!

At 2:08 - when there are no occupants in the rear seat, why is there a seat belt alarm for rear passengers? Can understand the beep if there are passengers in the rear seat.

Thank you Suzuki for such a good product, solid axles , with a coil springs . Everything spot on. What would have been awesome was if Suzuki made diesel motor have been introduced.With amazing torque and top level refinement.

Every time i listen to Mr. Srivastava I learn something new about marketing and how Maruti Suzuki works. I gwt his point about not letting up on the marketing even though the Jimny is going to be a best seller, youre building a foundation for something greater than just the Jimny.

We booked this car in March 2021 without any launch or delivery date. Found a dealer who actually agreed to the booking in Kochi. Been hard waiting but finally will get it. Will use for urban and Highway both which in India can turn into a Jungle track at any moment. The speed limitation of 100 Kmph and in some places 70 kmph make this engine totally worthwhile and effortless to drive. Also the price though awaited will totally justify it as a true Adventure drive.

Very nice review from the man himself! Body roll is gonna be a dealbreaker for those looking strictly at city use. But for the purists, it’s a gem! A keeper, for sure!

Kindly inform Mr. Sashank there is demand for 3 door Jimny in India. Atleast it should be made available in a volume of 5000 vehicles per year in both zeta and alpha.

its too expensive for the current setup....its almost 18.5 lakhs, its does'nt have auto dimming irvm and turning radius sucks taking away the advantage of narrow dimensions....if you target at premium buyers then increase the price by a lakh and provide premium features like 360 cam,auto dimming irvm,and better turning radius

Nothing lacking in the Jimmy?! Clearly he's not driving or owns this vehicle. No engine upgrade. No changes to the suspension due to the increased weight. They've created an iconic vehicle yet refuse to listen to their customer base and rather try to sell it to other sections of the industry. The arrogance, thinking this is some type of G-Wagon now explains the terrible decision about the metallic paint colours, which don't work on off-road vehicles. Not sure if this man should be in-charge as they're clearly not listening to their actual customers. They can't even meet delivery currently on the 3door No wonder the head of Suzuki Australia just got replaced.

@@TopGearMagIndia actually the interview would have been a few minutes longer if you had just let him talk. It’s not about the way you cut your video, it’s how the interviewer cut short the person he is interviewing…that’s what I said in the 1st place. Also if by your reply you are ensuring that the CEO of Maruti Suzuki talks to much…that’s not gonna look good for top gear India. The man was just explaining certain things that I believe to be very important…like release timelines for the car…something we are all waiting to hear. Also accessories, you didn’t even let him expand of it a bit. You guys should learn how to take constructive criticism with some grace.

@@worldfactography9250 those chatpata non technical car reviewers probably don't know what is monocoque and what is ladder frame body. Many people questioned about safety lol . about monocoque body Because of their superior handling, lower tendency to topple, crumple zones etc. it can be argued that monocoques are generally safer than body-on-frames. Just Try a 120 km/h emergency manouveur in a Fortuner & grand vitara (New) , then come back to tell us which one you survived. many studies too state that monocoques are the safer choice....

@@Days-hw5yu Ladder on frame are the oldest and easiest to make , and relatively inexpensive .. with a weight of 1205 kg and ground clearance of 210 mm .. Monocoque is good but in this case does not be the best fit

Suzuki should launch the 3 door version remove 4x4 and Launch it with 2 wheel drive option and 6 speed torque converter that will be awesome. Not everyone is going to use 4x4 as Mahindra launched 4x 2 Thar ⚡️💯

Mahindra launched 4×2 to undercut Jimny. There was no purpose to launch a new Thar with a small engine and 4×2 just before the unveiling of Jimny.
