I feel the same, is like he changed the mood, the song was so big and so filling from the beginning to the end of first part, i thought the song has ended even though it was 1 min and half, in sence that it was big big an heavy. Thanks for your reaction guys! 👏👏😀 Jimin’s use of auto tune is a perfect stylization for the dark undertones of his song! Only the haters say it’s all or full of auto tune, when, in fact, he does a lot of ‘unaffected’ vocals! All you have to do is OPEN YOUR EARS to hear that! And despite what some haters say, the first couple of verses ARE NOT even auto tune - he’s singing in a very low register that we’ve not heard before! 지민은 예전에 콘서트에서 이미 랩을 선보이며 짧지만 낮은 음역대의 랩을 보여준적 있어요. with you 에서도 낮은 목소리가 나왔구요. 평상시에 말할때 지민은 비교적 중저음으로 말하기에 지민의 본연의 목소리라서 저는 처음 들었을때 놀라지 않았어요. 오히려 낯설고 인위적이라고 말하는 사람들은 지민을 잘 모르는게 아닌가 싶어요.

Jimin using his chest voice with auto-tune so artistically in this song is genius. My prayers has been answered. Big Hit always has Jimin sing with upper register for majority of BTS songs knowing full well that Jimin’s lower register is amazing, like in Run and Ma City and other earlier songs 🔥🔥🔥

Usually rap line members use auto tune a lot in their solo songs or sometimes in BTS songs(mic drop,etc..) so it’s normal for them to use auto tune:) they use it to make the music more interesting than helping their voices.

Just want to put this out there - it is 100% okay if you don’t like parts of this song. It’s wonderful if you love it. Art should hit people differently. If everyone agrees about a piece of art then it’s weak. The strength of this song is partly that it has caused major discussion

Oh you get it. Beautiful art gets appreciation from everyone. But masterpieces? they create discussion. they impact people in levels that they can't help talking about it. normally people who don't like something, they just move on. Coming here because reciprocal communication on this channel used to be honest, free and welcome. Here it is.... take it as you will. Not gonna lie Jino, you disappointed me greatly with your twitter post today. You have full right to an opinion, you have full right to explain yourself, to state your position, to defend yourself, to stand your ground, that´s what I always liked about you and appreciated on your channel. You like what you like. Its you. No complains there. You have been attacked for it before and you managed. This time it was different. Coming from a place of knowing (and a first hand experience), that twitter is the most toxic brew from all SM platforms with some crazy, immature, vengeful, snappy people on it, you had a need to single out that one ( 1 ) comment from your reaction channel that started it all. That person had the same right to an opinion. That comment was from a bunch of many others and not even offensive or slandering in any form or shape. It just challenged your ego. You could have guessed what would happen to that person after your twitter post. You have been on the same receiving end of hateful attacks and name calling. What @suleima wrote was not an opinion, it was a blatant attempt to belittle Jino and to hyper-criticize Jimin's video as if that person knew anything about music, which from the comment obviously does not. What's funny is that this MV is being praised by critics and fans alike for its artistry, originality, boldness, production, and singing and dancing. Instead of viewing the MV from Jimin's point of view (it had a very important message for his haters), it was picked apart as if it was nothing. What maybe this individual and others like them need to think about is the hard work that Jimin put into this, his first solo MV without BTS behind him. He was on his own. I don't care that this person doesn't like Jimin's song. What I care about is the vitriol with which so-called fans feel the need to respond to music that is clearly so out of their comfort zone so as to butcher it based on what they think is good or not. Whether a song is good or not is not based on your opinion, it's based on the value of the music and its production. Anyway the bottom line really is to keep shitty comments to yourself when you want to do nothing but scold someone for their opinion or distastefully and hatefully slam the artist and their work. No one needs nasty people in their lives or on their social media timelines.

I do not care about the song, Jimin or any rest of it in context of what I said, my comment was about him singling out one comment from many others, hence directly bringing attacks by " all Jimin loving sweethearts", calling that person bitch and what not ! Stay Alive was the biggest missed opportunity of this decade. Why Hybe choose to bury its release behind a 2 minute performance video, is beyond baffling. This was a painful betrayal of both artists. I'm sure JK realized this too. Unfortunately, he won't get a pass from me in the future because of their error. JK must handle the promotional plans for his projects, trusting his instincts exclusively. No companies vision will ever match his own abilities, not ever.

As a Yoogi biased Army I am delighted to see how much Stay Alive is loved and appreciated. One year later and it is as impactful and stunning as on the first day of its release. Test of time proved unwavering quality of this song. Prod Min Yoongi has created a timeless beauty. It is so rich and so delicately multi-layered. What a gem. Having said that....I find it mildly amazing how the main singer of the song who is imho responsible for 50% of its greatness was not mentioned even once. I thought it used to be "what´s good is good" with you Jino, but I guess times have changed. Jeon Jungkook - the one whose name we can´t mention in this fandom. You probably got the memo too..............

Unrelated but Jino, do you think it's worth switching from Spotify to Apple Music? I see a lot of people praising Apple Music and its audio quality but I'm very loyal to Spotify's interface and my playlists there, I like the app a lot, but I'm also a music fan and audiophile so I'd like the better experience. I feel like Apple Music might utilizes a better equalizer but if you listen to music on Spotify on a great device and with good quality headphones you'll get the same experience. I'd really appreciate your take on this!

То ли буря, то ли сокол я бесстрашный, То ли Лиры утренний мотив." Слова и смысл этого стиха заложен как в этом клипе, так и в альбоме, в целом. Чимин и его танцоры создают фигуру, которая может показаться узором золотого сечения или последовательностью Фибоначчи - в форме СПИРАЛИ, символизирующую ДНК Так же на фотографии альбома нарисованы КРУГИ, обозначающие расширяющиеся круги, охватывающие весь мир. Oh you know what I appreciate on Stay Alive's 2nd verse too? How it could sound like the final bridge before a bigger chorus but it doesn't sound exactly like it, so you don't feel like "oh, the song's already reaching the end and we'll get another last chorus and then it's over". Because I've heard some songs where they switch up on the 2nd verse and it doesn't sound cohesive to the first, it's too different and it gives the listener the wrong idea that it's reaching the end

His guest very clearly noticed and brought up Jungkook´s vocal skill immediately in the beginning within first 15 seconds of the listening and his first comment was about the THE VOCALS ( "that little tripplet hit he did with his voice".... ). So no it was not just about composition.... to mislead as gravely as Jino did here ( intentionally, unintentionally I do not care ) , not correcting misconception of who is the vocalist was a low blow. If it was any other member, he would be burnt for it... with Jungkook we need to be understanding .... as always. What a shame.

Jhope, jk and RM, yet I've never seen anyone ask him to talk about the rest of them . I hope u don't think I'm favouring anyone. But it's not that deep, I'm sure both of them knew about the vocalist and his importance. Let's not pick apart and find fault in everything, it's one of the main reason people stop reacting.

Jino, just viewed this video and loved your guest. He seems sincere, I'm hopeful he won't be swayed by the masses. I pass on the new song, so felt 85 was a fair score for Jimins first attempt at something new. My highest expectations are for RM, Suga and JK, so these 3 must overshoot the mark. As the cost of tour tickets and albums increase, I must trust that what one creates in the studio will replicate live. I wish Jimin well and will await the next 4 songs with an open mind. Plan to check out your friends music for now.

Stay Alive was sung by Jungkook, it would have been nice to recognize the singer and not only praised Suga. The song would not sound the same if any other person had tried to sing it. You didn’t treat Set Me Free and Pdogg and Jimin the same way.

I have never seen people give full credit to Jungkook for anything he does in this fandom. The song would not be the same without the singer. Songwriters and producers can create the story but the one who can interpret the story with true emotion which allows the audience to connect with the story on an entirely different level is the singer. Jino kinda has some beef with JK. He couldn't take it when Suga called him a ''genius type''.

I viewed more replies. Jino please don't cancel us, nor waste time explainig how you think highly of JK. People honestly feel JK is getting raw dogged, as they watch him be sidelined and others promoted fully. Don't salt their wounds. To all JK admirers, his day will come and no matter who fails him, I. and he, trust you to support him fully. JK believes in himself and is determined to show his vision to everyone. Yes, Jimin has had his big debut and should be celebrated, nobody is disputing that, but your argument feels a little weird given Jino spent lots of time praising Suga´s work on Stay Alive but totally glossed over an actual singer behind the vocals, so Suga is allowed to shine but not Jungkook? Jino didn´t need to go into lengthy accolades, one single mention of JK would be enough to acknowledge the singer. His guest must think Suga is the singer. And after watching closely evolution of so called ch2 from its start - people do not just feel JK is getting raw dogged... he IS getting raw dogged.

BTS only connection to K-pop is the industry they come from. Like many Korean artists, the K-pop sound didn't resonate with most BTS members. Jimin's new song sounds K-pop like, so I believe those fans are his target audience. I expect the other members to drop more globally accepted music. You are welcome to have a favorite, but it's not prudent to diss the others. Jimin will suffer if we upset fans of those other members.

The fact that he compliments another member does not mean that he's ignoring JK's existence. Each member has a release schedule, and right now JK is working on his project, when it's ready, it will definitely be promoted by BH.Apparently you didn't pay attention to the release order of the boys' solo projects, RM, Jin and JH have already released their projects. Jimin released now, next will be V and JK. Each member will have their moment.
