Imagine having a jet bike in your garage and being like "yeah that was a fun day". BTW you should put a hang glider on that. You would be surprised, I bet you'd get off the ground for 10 or 20 feet. Add enough engines and it would fly but you need some way to steer. It would be mostly legal too you might have to get some kind of license but since it's a hang glider it will glide down if the motors die (depending on the weight) oh yeah that reminds me you would have to cut the weight a shitload....like super light frame, carbon fiber or lighter IDK, lipo batteries if you're using lead acid..few other things but yea totally doable and super badass project idea

These arent jets... They're electronic ducted fans. Very strong, but a fraction of what actual mini jet turbines could do. I own 4. But theyre in an RC B52. Couldnt afford 8 so i have 4 next to 4 display mock engines. And its already insanely fast so i could get away with 2. Maybe i could do this project 😎

If you switch to actual jets, you might want to do a vertically-stacked arrangement along the lateral centerline, as in the BAC Lightning (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Electric_Lightning), so that you don't have control issues related to differential thrust about the yaw axis.

There is always the proper tool for any task. Plyers substituted for a box wrench, a folding multi-tool in place of a phillips head screwdriver, and electric fans you call jet engines. You got your own thing going on. Keep on keepin' on!

Man you have mad s k i l z z. Yes speed limits are important. When I was in the military on the East Coast, another G I got a ticket for speeding. Laugh out loud, he was on his rollerblades. I guess he exceeded the 25 mile per hour limit. MPs are the best. Sometimes they partied a little bit too hard though and do some crazy stuff and we'll just leave it at that.

I just ran across your video, and I’m really impressed, these types of videos are exactly what KZfaq is about. You should be proud of yourself, You set A very good example for other young people. I’m quite a bit older than you and I fly RC planes so I was very interested when I saw you using these ducted fans for your jet bike. You remind me of when I was a kid back in the 60s, we would build mini bikes from scratch, and put motors on regular bikes. Boy I’d love to get my hands on that thing, it almost makes me want to build one of my own. Keep up the good work👍
