1. 〜ために
[意味]行為の目的を言う言い方。
in order to / forA way of saying the purpose of an action. (Formal)
[接続]V（辞書形） + ためにNの + ために
* 生きるために働きます。
　We work to live.
* 生活のために働きます。We work for living.
* 旅行へ行くために お金をためています。
I am saving money to go on a trip.
* 山田さんのために パンを買ってきました。
I bought bread for Yamada-san.
* お金持ちになるために、このビジネスを始めました。
I started this business to become rich.
2. 〜たらいいですか
[意味]相手に指示を求める時に使う表現。Used when the speaker seeks instructions from listener
[接続]疑問詞 + V（た形）+ らいいですか。
* 日本へ行きたいんですが、まず何をしたらいいですか？
I want to go to Japan, what should I do first?
* 金閣寺へ行きたいんですが、ここからどうやって行ったらいいですか？
I want to go to Kinkakuji Temple, how do I get there from here?
3. 〜たらどうですか？
[意味]相手にある行動をするように提案する言い方。
Suggestion. "Why don't you ~ / how about if you ~"A more direct suggestion than "～たほうがいい"
[接続]V（た形）+ らどうですか。
* A: のどがいたいなあ。B: じゃあ のどあめを なめたらどうですか？
A: My throat hurts. B: Then why don't you lick some throat drops?
* 困ってるの？佐藤さんに聞いてみたらどう？
Are you in trouble? Why don't you ask Sato-san?
* 疲れた顔をしているね。 ちょっとやすんだらどう？
You look tired. Why don't you take a rest?
4. 〜続ける
[意味]動作や習慣の継続を表す。"keep on / continue to do"Indicates the continuation of an action or habit.
[接続]V（ます形）ます + つづける
* 失敗しても 努力し続けるといつか成功しますよ。
Even if you fail, keep trying and one day you will succeed.
* スマホやテレビを長時間 見続けると、目によくないですよ。
If you keep looking at your cell phone or TV for a long time, it's not good for your eyes.
* ずっと待ち続けているんですが、山田さんはまだ来ません。
I have been waiting for a long time, but Mr. Yamada hasn't come yet.
* この靴は、もう10年もはき続けています。
I have been wearing these shoes for 10 years now.
5. 〜っていう
[意味]人や物の名前をいう時に使うカジュアルな表現。
named~ / called~Also say, 〜っていう in casual
In formal way, 「〜という」
[接続]N + って
* これはオムライスっていう食べ物だよ。
　 This is a food called omelette rice.
* 大丸っていうデパートに行ったことがある？
　Have you ever been to a department store called Daimaru?
* ワンピースっていうマンガ、知ってる？Do you know a manga called One Piece?
