1. 〜ていただけませんか
[意味]丁寧にお願いする表現　Polite expressions of request
Could you please do 〜 for me.
[接続]V（て形） + いただけませんか
* 駅へ行きたいんですが、道を教えていただけませんか？
　 I want to go to the station, could you please tell me the way?
* まだ分からないので、もう一度説明していただけませんか。
　I still don't understand, could you please explain again?
* = 〜て くれませんか。
* ＝ 〜て もらえませんか。
2. 〜てくる（変化・移動）
[意味]① 以前から今までの推移、変化を表す。
　transition or change from before to now.② 話し手の位置に向かっていることを表す。
movement toward the speaker's position.
[接続]V（て形） + くる
* 太ってきたから、ダイエットしなくちゃ。
I have gained weight and need to lose weight.
* 円安で、日本に来る外国人観光客が 増えてきた。
With the depreciation of the yen, the number of foreign tourists coming to Japan has increased.
* 田中さんが あわてて こちらへ走ってきた。 何かあったのかな。
Mr. Tanaka came running this way in a panic. I wonder if something happened.
3. 〜てくる（行って戻る）
[意味]他の場所へ移動し、用事を済ませ戻って来る
Go somewhere else, do your business and come back.
[接続]Vて + くる
* ちょっとお手洗いに 行ってきます。
　　I'm going to the restroom.
* お腹がすいたので、コンビニで弁当を買ってきます。
　　I'm hungry, so I'll go to the convenience store and buy a box lunch.
* そろそろ行きましょうか。タクシーを呼んできますね。
　　Shall we get going? I'll call a cab.
4. 〜てしまう
[意味]①完了：ある行為を完全に完了することを表す。
　　　　 the action has been completed.②後悔：意図せずある行為を行い、残念だ、後悔していると言いたい時に使う。
　　　　did an action unintentionally and are sorry or regretful.
[接続]V（て形） + しまう
* 宿題なら、もう終わらせてしまいました。
　　If it's homework, I've already finished it.
* 道を間違えてしまって、目的地まで3時間もかかった。
　　I took a wrong turn and it took me three hours to get to my destination.
* ダイエットしているのに、昨日はケーキを３つも食べてしまった。
　　I am on a diet, but I ate three pieces of cake yesterday.
5. 〜でしょう (guessing)
[意味]おそらく〜 　Probably, I guess~
推量表現。断定はできないが、確信に近い気持ちで「おそらく〜だ」という時に使われる
Inferential expression. Used when you can't say for sure, but you feel confident that it's probably true.
[接続]V（普通形） + でしょうイA（普通形） + でしょうナA（普通形）+ でしょう　※ナAな + でしょうN（普通形）+ でしょう　※Nだ + でしょう
* 薬を飲めば大丈夫でしょう。きっとよくなりますよ。
　Take your medicine and you will be fine. You will get better.
* あんなに勉強したんだから、ジムさんは試験に合格するでしょう。
　Jim will pass the exam because he studied so hard.
* 今日は休日だから、朝の電車は座れるでしょう。
　Today is a holiday, so the morning train will not be crowded and probably we can be seated.
