Bowie's fans love the fact that he transformed himself so frequently, practically on every album, but that's also the reason why some people can't seem to get into him. Just when you think you've got him nailed down, he changes.

If my memory is correct, David’s dream as a young boy was to go to America and join Little Richard’s band as a horn player. Iman gave David an authentic Little Richard bomber jacket as a gift.

This song is from a 1987 film he was in - "Absolute Beginners" directed by Julien Temple. The clips are from that movie.

This is such a glorious song. It's a shame the movie it was the theme for ("Absolute Beginners" where the color parts of the video are from) is not good. This song deserves so much better.
