Over the years, the more I learned and watched Joan, the more I went from not being a fan to completely loving her. And the love manifested in the form of respect. I loved her intelligence and humor, but mostly I loved her toughness. She had a brave, unstoppable spirit inside her.

I have never idolized a celebrity like I did Joan Rivers. From my teens on, I loved everything she did, I copied her manner, repeated her jokes, and as I got older I found I have a relationship with my daughter as close as Joan and Melissa. Rest In Peace dearest Joan.

I missed Joan so much. I am such a big fan of hers and enjoyed her comedy. She maybe rough and tough at times but she is truly a genuine, kind-hearted, and generous person. I am so proud of Melissa because she is not only a wonderful daughter but a great mother as well. She is not far behind with her mother's kindness and generosity. All I wish for her and Cooper is true happiness, strength and good health. Joan maybe gone but we still love you a lot Melissa.

Joan worked so hard for a good life and had many heartache too!! This also shows people you can have fame and money and a guy can still be a dog!! I am watching this February 13th, the anniversary of my Mother's Death. She and I shared an EXTREMELY close and loving bond, similar to what Joan and Melissa shared. Seeing Joan comfort Melissa and her emotions of rage for someone hurting her brought back so many memories of my sweet Mother. I am 😢 weeping tears. I miss her so much! I understand the pain and sorrow Melissa endures having lost her Mother. 😢
