Over the years, the more I learned and watched Joan, the more I went from not being a fan to completely loving her. And the love manifested in the form of respect. I loved her intelligence and humor, but mostly I loved her toughness. She had a brave, unstoppable spirit inside her.

I am so proud of Melissa because she is not only a wonderful daughter but a great mother as well. She is not far behind with her mother's kindness and generosity. All I wish for her and Cooper is true happiness, strength and good health. Joan maybe gone but we still love you a lot Melissa.

I am watching this February 13th, the anniversary of my Mother's Death. She and I shared an EXTREMELY close and loving bond, similar to what Joan and Melissa shared.
