He is one of those players that had one amazing season scoring more than 20 goals.. problem is that was six years ago and since he has not scored more than half that amount in any season. That said Barca got no money to purchase players and Atleti clearly does not want him so another loan makes sense.

No pressing, no tracking back, no runs in behind or between lines. If you watch Felix he seems like a player who’s only interested in football when he has the ball at his feet. If I were Xavi, I wouldn’t play him either. His amount of talent doesn’t cancel out the amount of things he’s average at and or not interested in doing. Felix is the most technical player in Barca but has the worst body language and is lazy. He's wants to play a position that doesn't exist in modern football anymore: 10. Furthermore, he rarely assists nor scores. I don't see him playing for Flick who demands German flavored industry, where functionality outweighs skill. He actually needs to drop further back in the mid and add some industry to his game. He's more skilled than Gavi and Pedri but they both run more than him. He needs to copy Bruno Fernandes industry.

Felix was never a great player. Probably never will be. His biggest attraction was a high price tag that atl Madrid paid for him. No one can find 3 consecutive games he's played well in his entire career. Can't defend, can't attack as a team. He's like that really good player at a pickup game. Who can work wonders sometimes, then disappears for 3 Sundays and no one hears from him. He's that guy. Everyone for the next 10 years are going to talk about his "potential" much like they did Quaresma. The price tag is the only reason we speak of Felix as a good player. Joao Felix’s talent level does not compensate for the fact that he never tracks back, Never presses the opposition and he never makes runs in between or behind lines. He’s only interested in football when the ball is at his feet; and even then he doesn’t always no what to do with it. Seeming like a paraplegic at times trying to maneuver around defenders. Average player.

Get rid of the garbage aka Joao Felix, Pedri, Gundogan, Ferran Torres, Oriol Romeu. Trade all 4 of these players for N'Golo Kante who is a box to box player and a beast in the midfield. These 4 players I mentioned above are either players who lose the ball to easily, don't play with heart, too slow or too old. Barcelona needs speed. Look at Real Madrid who's squad is mostly conformed of the best afro-descendants soccer players in the world. You take out Carbajal, and Valverde and it looks the best African team in the world. Real Madrid always goes after the best players who just happen to be afro-descendants who give Real Madrid speed and dynamism.
