Handling a job interview with a service dog! Me going over a day of what it was like going through the interview process with a service animal and how we handled it. Though we did not get the job from this interview we managed to get another job that is much better for my medical needs so, when one door closes another opens! Thank you guys for joining us today!

Fantastic video! I know a lot of handlers have questions on this subject and I think this video will help answer a lot of the those questions. Would love to see an update to hear if you got the job, wishing you luck!

I didn't get this job in question but did manage to get another job I was working towards as another in-between position as I continue to look for work!

I am training my sd right now, and I know that some of my coworkers think of him as a pet, and don’t think that i should have him at all, let alone bring him to work. It will still be a while before he’s ready to go to work with me, but I’m very, very worried about it.

No one will hire me with a Service Dog... I have been to many interviews and Noone will hire me with my PTSD dog..

Do you recommend being open about having a service animal to potential employers, I’ve been getting a lot of mixed suggestions about my service animal and a job interview I have tomorrow

I think it depends what part of the process of the interview on my first phone screening I don’t bring it up but by the time I go to meet them in person I generally have my service dog with me so I bring them along
