Gonna miss that film and the videos that followed it the first week after. I’ll remember going to theaters at the start of Christmas break watching it with my family and then going back home and watching theories and speculations for a week.

You see actors getting bribed to come back in movies, take cameos or what not. But Dafoe WANTED to come back and made SURE that this was an all-encompassing role and it shows. The man brought his absolute A-game, and honestly I agree he probably had the best acting of this film - definitely Oscar worthy.

The Green goblin legit might actually steal the whole movie. He's up there thanos and heath's joker now for sure. The guy was surprisingly brutal, unhinged and terrifying for an mcu character

Thats because he is from our universe. The MCU is a filled with aliens, and technology that we may never have like nano tech suites or flying Aircraft carriers for example. But the prime universe that Toby was from is based on our perception of realism. Grounded in 2002 physics and technology and that also means its more brutal. I'm willing to bet you Toby's spiderman is far superior than Tom's. Strength, agility, speed and coordination. Toby never had A.I. suit that assisted him.

Otto recognized it because he himself was way ahead of his time. He built a self sustaining controlled nuclear fusion ball for crying out loud. He basically created a star the size of a room. Thats above anything Tony stark has ever attempted (other than time machine) but i believe him seeing the properties of the suit bleeding on to his tentacles made him realize the only way that can happen is on a nano level because magic doesn't exist.

Willem Dafoe being the quintessential villian for both Tobey and Tom is just amazing to see. Dafoe absolutely killed it once again in this role, easily slipping back into the split mind of Norman and Goblin.

Although willem dafoe did not play andrews goblin I think it’s still fair to say that goblin is the greatest enemy among all three… as you’ve stated about Tom and Toby but also as goblin is at fault for Andrew being unable to save Gwen in amazing Spider-Man 2.

I like that they went with a more classic green goblin look. I always hated alien looking costume from the first movie. Here they didn't need to give him a mask. His facial expressions are scary enough.

The scene where he met aunt may while being a lost old man looking for help is showing why he's one the greatest actor in the industry and then that whole apartment scene where he flip the switch with that menacing smile on his face and the procede to kill aunt may and beat peter to a pulp. This guy is literally one of the best villain in the MCU.

This is why i like the villains from Toby's universe. They are mature, cold, calculated and very scary. Just a single encounter from green goblin has literally turned tom Hollands Spiderman from goofy teenager mind to almost becoming a murderer.

Dafoe for a few scenes really dominated the movie and you can see why bc of his passion to participating in everything and the time he takes to demonstrate what a true green goblin should be. Mad respect for him and his fight w Tom in the apartment (literally beating toms ass) and the end fight on Caps shield 👏🏽

Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin was always scary to me. He flips so easily, it's insane. A seamless transition from being "calm" to being a downright monster in a matter of seconds. I've always loved his acting, and seemingly everything he does is a testament of how talented he is

To me one of the bigger characteristics of a “fun movie” is when you can easily tell that the actor is having such a fun time playing the character. Willem Dafoe definitely fits the bill.

I just saw the movie today. All I could just say is William Dufoe's acting & his Green Goblin dominated the whole central theme of the movie. His casting is mind-blowing. The other characters including those of Spidermen falls short before his acting skills. That's why might be his screen presence is cautiously reduced a little, later. Also that of Alfred Molina's deserve special mention Hope we could see them in their charecters again in some other spiderman film in the future

This whole movie was great. I feel the actors all put so much care into their roles. Between that and the way things tied together (no spoilers ofc) really are what made this from what could have been an average movie with nostalgia into something much better and definitive.
