The media needs to stop portaying her win as a surprise like they did with olivia at the oscars because also objectivly this is the best performance. Only concern i had was that they would give it to a more 'popular' actress. She deserves everything for giving us villanelle. What a win for killing eve and its viewers as well!

Yes, it's like saying to them "wow, how did you win'. lol. I would say that sometimes guys ARE that blunt, but she was cool about it.

I wasn't surprised at all when she won. All nominees are undoubtedly amazing at their acting skills. All of them can act I don't even doubt it, but one thing Jodie has more than them is her multilingual talent and character complexity. Those are her strong suits.

Jodie Comer is, seriously, the BEST actress on television right now. Not taking anything away from the rest of the cast at all. They are wonderful, but I've never seen anything like Jodie puts into Villanelle. By the way, could somebody please ask her to throw out a little Villanelle in an interview, just so I can fully believe she's not a different person altogether.

this interview is so annoying! imagine after someone winning a Emmy all you have to say is wow what a shock you won, wow didn't expect that did you?? like whats the shock of commemorating a fantastic actor?
