A lot of people didn’t really know this but when she competed in the Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) the second time around, she personally chose her team and what I meant by that is she hand picked everyone in her team until the end of Miss Universe in Thailand. She knew the people she could trust from the beginning of the competition, it was also an advantage that she’s a model so she knew people in the fashion industry.

you know that earing is not just an earing it has meaning in Philippines... the cups rising from here ears are raises of sun in the Philippine flag simbolizes the 8 town that first act on revolution when Philippines was being colonized and the 3 stars symbolizes the 3 main island of tge philippines...The lava dress got its inspiration from the famous Mayon Volcano which Catriona's home from.So much symbolsim and the Gown that she used in preliminaries it got its insperation from a Filipino mythology "ibong adarna" basicaly its a filipino mythological creature that sing nicely that makes its victims hypnotized and turned into stones that when it dies its burning itself and its going to be rebirth from its ashes it somewhat kind of phoenix.

this makes me smile and im not even from the 🇵🇭, its just so beautiful to see that her entire nation was backing her up throughout the entire pageant like wow imagine how it must feel to be slaying in every aspect and having millions watch you!! 😍

The team of Catriona Gray are her friends. Her team was the one who help her prepared for the Miss Universe competition.they call her red gown "lava red". The design comes from flowing lava. Because Catriona's mom.is.from the province of Bicol, where the Mayon volcano (it has a perfect come) is located. That's why you can see different shades of red Swarovski. Her team said that her gown cost.more than a million Philippine peso. You can find the video in youtube about what her team said about their preparation for Catriona.
