I find it hard to compliment people in real life. Therefor me and a friend did an experiment. So when we saw someone for example in a coffee shop, and we found something beautiful about that person, we wrote a note. Things that said something like their hair was cool, or their smile is pretty. We would leave the store when we gave them the note. It felt pretty brilliant. Take care Joey

I actually really enjoyed your podcast and love the topic . I do enjoy it being long Bc it’s something nice to listen to before bed or when you’re getting ready in the morning . Although I don’t want u to feel pressured to make them long . At the end of the day it’s your decision and I’ll support u in every way .

The male periods thing reminded me of that episode of New Girl when Schmidt (I think) thought he was on his male period, that was a good episode!

I enjoy these podcasts because you tell me stories, you tell us what you've learned and as others have mentioned your voice is soothing. I say this because it's the kind/type of voice that lets us know that you're trying to reach us and communicate to us and that helps a lot. Please keep doing what you enjoy. I wish you the best in everything and I mean everything.

Can you talk about like growing up after highschool. Like moving out, going to college, scared of changes. I'm kind of dealing with this now scared of leaving home, people and things not working out. Doubt you'll see this but just an idea :)

OMG.. Ive been saying to my mum for years about male periods... I looked into it and it does happen becuase it is the time when your hormones die and replenish themselves and the emotional feelings are the same as female periods we just dont have the physical syptoms..

As you said, self love is important and you can't be happy without it. I also believe that self love helps you to see that you as an individual have worth and it may prevent you from taking a lot of poop from others:) I used to say this phrase "though others may not see my beauty, I am beautiful". People have many concepts of what beauty is and how I look may not be to their satisfaction but it is to mines. We all have bad and doubtful days sometimes though:)

Ok.. so third comment.. I love what you are saying about being able to show affection with other men. Sometimes society looks at you strangley but I think its very important to put your arms around your friend and give them a hug or hold their hand when they need support. Ive seen you with your male friends and I think its really cool. Keep teaching my friend. Big man hugs coming at ya.. Tony T.

Hey Joey, I really liked the new podcast. You always stay you but what if you're still figuring out who that is. My family keeps telling me to act and be the way I used to be when I was little but I've changed a lot. It's like they don't like who I am now. But personally I like myself a lot more now. What can I do? I feel like you're the only one I can talk to about this.

Okay, so obviously I'm not Joey but idk, here's what I have to say about it because my parents say that sometimes too: ask them what they miss about your younger self. In my case, my mom missed the fact that I was brutally outspoken when I was a kid whereas my dad thinks I was more polished (not sure if I'm translating this right but he means that my accent and speech was "cleaner"). Once you know that you can keep growing and changing (cuz they go hand in hand) into whatever you and God (or whatever you believe in) wants you to be. Maybe what your family used to love about you you hated about yourself, or you just don't want to go back to that for whatever reason. Trust your gut feeling, but there's nothing wrong to consider your parents' input. OMG that is so looooooong XD so sorry!

I agree with everything you said but : boys DO NOT have period. What you described is called human behaviour. Everybody has that! It's-of course- not your fault you don't know what period actually is (in behavioural matters) BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU IT'S NOT THAT!
