2 days ago: SEC commissioner talks a bunch of BS about taking automatic bids away from teams like Oakland Tonight: Oakland beats Kentucky
@Ze_Moose2 ай бұрын
I'm still in shock 🤯
@randylahey82072 ай бұрын
SEC got pounded yesterday, completely overvalued. I have no idea how Kentucky was a 3 seed, they play zero defense and are a bunch of freshmen. Meanwhile the Big East only gets 3 bids (even though they're 1,2 and 3 seed) and Seton Hall gets left out after beating both Marquette and UConn. Oh, and Auburn plays better than KY almost all year, wins the conference tournament... And ends up a 4 seed. Huh?

@DEMI-sq5uf2 ай бұрын
@randylahey8207 They took into account the game where Kentucky shit on them. That’s why. But I think auburn was better looking back too. But when a bunch of freshmen come in and embarrass auburn like that at home they look at that.
@shawnchandler87192 ай бұрын
@@randylahey8207Those Big East teams no showed in the NIT too. That thing is starting to feel like bowl games have been lately.. The SEC has gone (1-3) so far in the tourney. Honestly, I had 8 teams coming from the SEC. Some of them just got seeded high. I had Kentucky as a 7, which was by far the largest difference between mine and the committees bracket. I figured they might give them a 5, but a 3 is kinda wild. They set them up for failure on this one. Edit: Funny enough. The two teams I missed were Villanova and St. Johns... Two Big East schools. Instead, the committee went with Texas AM(SEC) and Michigan State(B10).

And how did MSU do in theirs? 2nd round? Not to mention every top seed (except UConn) in theirs? Conference championships mean jack-squat except for those needing an automatic bid, and not one of the 6 times UNC won the national title, did they also win said meaningless conference championship. It's probably better they lost. But beside that ONE time in 2000, what would give anyone the impression that MSU would have more poise than UNC, who have beat them 6 out of the last 7 times, including a title game a$$ whoopin that wasn't even as close as the 17pt margin of victory... GTFOH

Calipari is the most overrated coach in college basketball, and that's why I want him to continue coaching at Kentucky. Idk lol. This video is a whole bunch of a guy yelling at the Calipari for the same things he yells at his players for lol. Calipari has had some of the best defensive teams in the modern era of college basketball. Fact is, his bigs were horrific defensively. Onyenso has no business even being in the game. He sells out for blocks non stop and can't defend a pick and roll to save his life. Trey Mitchell was basically a traffic cone all year. Decent rebounder and offensive player who can't move his feet on defense or protect the rim. Big Z is mentally behind a lot of the time, but Oneyneso getting more minutes than Bradshaw and Big Z combined is a travesty lol. Every time Cal played Onyenso save for maybe 2-3 games this year, he was hot garbage. No hands, tries to post up guys with no offensive moves, can't shoot. Just a net negative all the way around.

Also 2nd half they were guarding him at half court bc thats what you do when someone dropped 7 3’s on you in the first half, you’re not about to let someone heat check their way into more 3’s, plus i would rather them make a 2 over a 3 from a guy who was hitting everything beyond the arc. Now other than that yes i absolutely agree the switching/jamming was absolutely horrendous. Overhelp was also a major issue in situations where help wasn’t needed, let them drive into a tough 2 or drive into the lane w a 7 footers waiting.
