Excellent description, this comment is just on the engineering. Why on earth would they make a complex fan drive system like that when you can just run an electric fan controlled by a relay? Combine variable speed cleaning fan drives makes sense, this seems like it was purposefully designed to make John Deere money on parts replacement. I'll keep my 4020. :)
