That field they were plowing was a little dryer than dry won't it. And hard looking . Surprised they pull through it as easy as they did. Cool Deere's , liked them all . Grew up with Deere . 😀👍

I absolutely love hearing the brute horsepower those tractors are making. And the way the tires flex under the extreme load. I’m a retired firefighter and it reminds me of hearing the fire engines motors screaming while on scene of a big incident and major pumping operations.going. 👍👨🏻🚒🇺🇸

I agreed, I love the older 30, 40, and 50 series tractors a lot. I was really upset when my dad traded one of the last oldies we had. It was a 4650, which he traded in on a 8300 to plants beans, anhydrous, and grain cart. It was a beautiful 4650 fwa, it came from central Indiana.

Love seeing the visual history of our industry but i wonder, considering all the different plows used does the land owner have a hard time getting the field smoothed out after?

Very cool. John Deere tractors have sure advanced since the 4030. Thus show is beat because you get to see unique variation of wheel known tractors.

Seeing 4430's brings back a lot of memories. My Dad had a pair of them, and I'd love to bring one of them back home. The open station model is new to the though....

The 4430 is one of the greats. There were open stations 4430s and 4630s. They are not too common. It’s funny tough the competing IH 1066 and 1466 are very common to see with out a cab.

A propane burning one-wheeler 4020 that's probably a pretty rare tractor I would imagine.

Need some advice from fellow green tractor owners - where do you guys go to get aftermarket JD parts? I'm specifically looking for a replacement rear flood light for my '74 JD 4230. I can get it thru a JD dealer but it costs an arm and a leg to do so. Thanks! [Also yet another wonderful video from BTP!]

Great video as always! I really liked the JD 8020 and the JD WA-14. Did the 8020 have a Detroit Diesel? And did the WA-14 have a Cummins motor also? In my opinion JD is the best. Thanks for all the videos you do. I really love the old school stuff

This question doesn't really pertain to this video but can or has there ever been a time when you could purchase a 1958 or a 1960 John Deere Models : 330 and 420, brand new and have an option as a belly mower ?

I tend tend to like the older Deere stuff a bit more then anything else out there B.T.P.,the older 6030's,WA-14's,17's,7020's,8020's have a lot more personality.

It would be nice to see the whole plow in the soil not just the front doing work

It would have been and most years you would have seen that but the ground was sooooo dry the plows would not get the grip needed. One tractor ripped its 3pt off trying to plow. Even the biggest 850 to 450 hp tractors had trouble as you can see in this video m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qLSVi7Kjl5q3l40.html

There only going about 4to6 inches that is why they are pulling big plows out here in Colorado we can stop a 4850 at 200 hp with a 5 bottom so these guys are not doing much other than showing off

I would love too but unfortunately very few Ford tractors take part in the field demonstrations at this show. The next BTP video following this one will show all the brands picking corn. That will have two Ford tractors in it.

You are only cutting 4 t0 6 inches in Colorado we can stop a 4850 with 5 bottom we plow at 10 to 12 inches at 3 to 4 mph

Amazing tractors but i will never understand why to waste a lot of diesel fuel to plow the dust in a not much deep way.. that soil is ready to seed, yet!

This is a plowing demonstration for fun. This is not a working farm so they are just plowing to show al the classic machines working.

Them plows disks are doing nothing you have to drop the plow and disk & go

The factory rating in the sales brochure was 125. I bet they can crank out allot more.

Yeah I thought they were around 135 too. We rented one way back in the day for a summer during one of the (several) times our 4020 was in the shop. I really liked the 4430(not a fan of 4020's) it felt like JD had worked out the bugs of all the stuff I didn't like about our 4020.
