It's really funny to think that those dudes who recognized the chords of "The Hurt" at 6:18 had definitely thought for a minute he was saying that song was "the most important lesson about love you're ever gonna need."

There are almost NO artists I would say this about, but Mayer is much better live than his studio works. He sounds better, relaxed, entertaining, creative . . . he brings it to the audience. His blues stuff live is very rewarding.

the chords are different when he sings the "anything other than yes is no" part and i can't find it anywhere =( i've listened to this probably 50x and played it 20x today xD...i never get tired of this song! friends, lovers, or nothing harsh relates to me right now. I just wish he would put The Hurt on the new album. It always makes me crack a smile when the two guys in the room shout THE HURT! now those guys i have to hang out with b/c they're probably guitarists too haha

i just hope he's intrigated 'the hurt' somehow in this song on the album...i love that song.
