I've been watching these videos for a while. Decided to take the glass blowing class at my university. So far, loving it! Thank you for the inspiration! Also I love the gentleman who is narrating! I learn so much when he's in a video! Someone give him a pat on the back or something to appreciate his knowledge!

Corning Museum of Glass I'm hoping you're still watching comments. I noticed the wood paddles were used as various different applications. Be it heat shield or guide. What would you say is the most versatile instrument in a glass artist's arsenol. My guess is on the forcep tool.

john miller seems like a lovely gentleman .... I think not being harsh makes him a much better teacher and the students seem much more dedicated because of his kindness and kind personality

John Miller its been way to long since I've seen you. I studied at SCSU and learned to blow glass by Peter Paliterie and you my friend. I'm in Tampa and am working on getting back into it.

They shouldn't heated the sprinkles up individualy and placed them on it.

The cupcake would have looked better if the sprinkles were multicolored and the candle was put on straight.

due to a drastic change in my life i have had a whole lot of time on my hands recently and i have been spending much of it watching these live demo's. As such, i have really gotten interested in glass blowing and would like to learn more. i cant seem to find anywhere nearby that does classes though. Thank you for the videos :)

I enjoy functional art. This cupcake was just a silly waste of talent. Hard to even consider it beautiful.

I'd love to see a peice like this everytime I went to a local bakery or candy shop in my city. I have a tattoo of a cupcake for my little sister, so maybe some people just like the simple pleasures of pretty looking cake.
