An update by Sr. Mary Joseph Calore, SSCJ - administrator of the John Paul II Manor, a personal care home of the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Cresson, Pennsylvania.
This home was the dream of the first provincial superior of the American Province of the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the late Mother Amabilis Debicka, SSCJ, who envisioned providing loving care with dignity for residents in a home-like environment.
The John Paul II Manor is owned and operated by the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. It opened its doors on October 15, 2005.
