The ‘91 Finals was when Magic lost to Michael’s team in The Finals. The Lakers probably weren’t good enough to get there in the West but any team with Magic Johnson on it had a chance. After the Lakers lost, Magic didn’t play in the preseason the next season and it was weird that NBA fans weren’t getting any answers as to why. Suddenly the truth came out with Magic’s press conference a few games into the ‘91-‘92 season and the NBA was devastated. Magic retired early and Michael officially took over the league and that’s that. I still believe if the HIV thing never happened Magic would have had at least another championship or two, or more
