To put this in perspective for people who don't lift: I know this girl is world class, but I'm a 205 lbs man and she can deadlift more than I can by about 10kg and I've been training for about a year. Pretty mind blowing.

It's crazy, I'm 75kg and can only deadlift 150kg after a year of training. The only person more impressive I've seen pound for pound is naim suleymanoglu imo.

For context, she just deadlifted 346% her body weight. That’s wild

The problem is you counting from "weight 0 KG" upwards. As if a average, untrained person couldn t lift a pound. Take 70-80 KG as a normal untrained deadlift and subtract this from her 170 KG. Then you re at a 2× BW lift. Take Eddie Halls' 500 KG, minus 70/80 KG divided BW (ca 200 KG at the time) and you get also 2× BW lift and a more logical pound for pound ratio. That s the only reason why lighter persons seem to be pfp more strong.

Well, as 225lbs guy I can deadlift 150kg for reps conventional, never tried 160 and 170, but surely these are not unreachable for me. What's really unreachable is deadlift my BW×3.5 or even 3.3. It's like I'm deadlifting 330kg, no I'm not gonna do that.
