Our ticket finally came up for a 3 day American Patriot long range trip to Pully Ridge. We had a special guest with us (Noah) from Daiwa. Slow pitch jigging was on fire. We stayed pinned to the rail a majority of the time. You have to love it when the fishing is hot. Johnny digs into jigging on a anchor and the fellas crush some Queen Snapper, snowy grouper, scamp grouper, American red snapper, and muttons. Is that Captain Jerry! I fished with that man a ton on the Gulfstar. He's one hell of a Captain and always put you on the fish! great video gents I can't wait to do a trip on the American Patriot.

Great video! Hope to do a trip on the AP sometime, if they ever clear up their legal mess. Not going to risk a no-refund fare on a trip that won’t happen.

What was that battery pack on a shoulder strap for the electric reel? That looks so much better than dragging around a 12 volt deep cycle.

We micro jig with spinning reels, but SPJ is much better with conventional.

Nothing new. I tied them myself on the way out. 5/0 jj hooks spliced with hollow core line.
