The problem with the Map of the Soul ON:E concert is that it was the first online concert during Covid that BTS had, so it was basically an experiment and test run for the company. While we got to see all our favorite performances that we would’ve seen if they went on tour, there were technical issues. Such as the backing track was too loud, some of the mics were soft and some were loud, etc. However, it paid off because all their future online concerts had very little to no problems (sowoozoo and ptd online concerts) Also Moon is just such a fun song with a lot of energy! Jin did so well with this song, and it always brings my mood up when I’m down.

This was my most streamed Song in 2021 😅💜 I love to listen to it when I go for a run. Edit: the foxes, the moon an the Rose are references to the Story "the little Prince".

You can see that Jin mentioned the book "Little Prince", that's why the little prince style clothes, only pink giving a Jin touch. We have the rose, which is very important to the little prince and it is on the moon, and finally the foxes, which represents a fox that is the little prince's adventure companion.

I always enjoy listening to this song but I've never looked at the translation before. They lyrics are so good. The moon shone brightly on my garden path this week so Jin was there beside me. RM has such a high emotional intelligence. He is able to empathise with Jin. He found him difficult to fathom at first but then he got to know him and realise that despite seeming to be a light weight thinker there was a lot more to him. It's sad that Jin struggles inside while showing us his bright side. What a great description of this song as a love letter. Didn't Jin look like a prince in that live? I love the fox masks the support dancers are wearing. The fox being a night animal really suited the song. And we got a Jin high note special. I had to laugh at him struggling to cuddle the earth at the end. It's so lovely that they write songs directly for ARMY. Thank you, John. BTW yes RM was interrupted by his dad on the phone. This concert was the first one I got up at like, 4 a.m. to watch and it was so amazing. Others have mentioned that the staging for this was based on The Little Prince, which is why the backup dancers are wearing fox masks. But this was also right in the thick of COVID and I remember being really impressed with how they incorporated masks on the backup dancers for every single song and performance. They all look awesome and unique and not out of place at all. And props to the dancers for the level of performing while masked! (I didn't want to hear anyone complaining about how they couldn't breathe during a 15 minute grocery run in a mask, esp watching behind the scenes of the rehearsals where everyone, including Bangtan, was always masked and going super hard). This is still my favorite Jin solo song because it always puts me in a fantastic mood.

Every time I watch a performance from the Map of the Soul ONE concert, I think about how such a shame it is that we don’t have more live performances of these. I found BTS after 2020 so I am only just realizing how devastating the cancelation of their world tour was. It would have been incredible.

The chemistry that BTS have with their fans is so heart-warming to see. And thank you for the video clip of Jin and RM talking about the making of the song. RM is a great lyricist and he is the go-to guy for the other members when they need help with their lyrics. It's also touching to see Jin almost self-deprecating in talking about the song. So good to see the space theme started in Moon, then by happy coincidence continued in their Coldplay collaboration "My Universe", then on to "The Astronaut". And just when you'll be wrapping up the Jin-related reactions it will soon be time to start the reactions for V's birthday!

Have you known that Jin actually can play guitar better than piano? He even performed a song with guitar in concert 2015 (or 2014?) and he was so good! Jin doesn’t play much in last few years so new Armies might not know.
