As a 72 year old one legged woman, I was pretty frustrated with the instructions that came with my new S120. I watched this video and in 20 minutes had my mower deck reinstalled after using the snow plow all winter. Thanks for making my life easier.

Hey Brad nice video. I have A John Deere D120 and just finished installing the Mulching Deck Kit BM21816. I used your video to guide me in removing the deck to install the mulching kit. Your video was very helpful. Instead of a pry bar to move the deck into position I placed 1"x4" boards underneath the deck and simply used one of these boards to move the deck up and down as needed to align it with the deck support bars and rods. These boards also helped sliding the deck in and out of position below the tractor. Thx again.

Good demo. I am surprised that John Deere in not making the cable adjustment on the deck any longer. I used to adjust them to take the tension out of the cable all the time. Thanks for the video.

My opinion, in todays world, it is about how easy they can make it and save money in the process. They will also make more money selling you new belts because you now cannot adjust the bracket when the belt stretches. Thank you for watching, commenting and supporting the channel!

Great video. I am amazed how easy you take the clips off and put them back on. Then I remember you have been doing this for a long time. Me, I always have trouble with the clips. But I eventually get them back on. LOL

Hey how heavy would you recommend pulling with these? I was gifted one recently. And I’m currently using it to pull logs in a gorilla cart. Kinda like a garden tractor setup more than just for mowing. I understand there can be a strain on the transmission because it’s such a small system . That said, what capacity would you recommend against going over with these S series? Thank you so much. Also what are some early signs of transmission failure in these? Thanks again

My opinion , the 100 series machines should only be used to cut grass. You would need to look up specs on a John Deere web site for all info. The tractor will start to slow down a lot if your transmission starts to go.
